Lanie Shine

Bio

Lanie Shine is an artist, photographer and student at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly Massachusetts. She will graduate in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Concentration in Photography+Video+Film. Her interests are varied and include portraiture, fashion, product photography, and performance and music documentation as well as digital manipulation in post production. She completed her internship at BKB&Co where she shot a variety of assignments that included weddings and lifestyle images. She loves to tell stories with her images and share the intimate moments of social gatherings and shared events. She works as a freelance photographer and offers photo-imaging retouching services.

Both lead and second shooting on weddings, photo retouching and gallery sorting.

Being a friendly, welcoming face to help assist with the difficult transition that is moving into college. We worked on team building, leadership skills, and communication.

Photo Monitor: Montserrat College of Art (Beverly, Massachusetts)  2021 - Present
Supervising the space to allow other students to work within the area after class hours. Monitoring the studio, dark room, and film processing area. I work as a helpful person if a student ever needs assistance through these complicated processes.

Director of 10 Ways to Survive the End of The World. Stepping into a leadership position among my peers to audition, produce, and direct a play that was put on as a special one night showing.
